Gift of Sight

gift of sight price tag-BLUE-300RSI’s Gift of Sight program makes it very easy for you to give the gift of sight! The program aims to fight curable blindness in economically disadvantaged communities in the Philippines where any dollar amount goes a long way. For example, for as little as $10 you can save the eye of a child with an eye infection and for as little as $ 150 you can change the life of a person who has been blinded by cataract, enabling him to support his family, care for his children and thereby regain his dignity. Yes! Your donation determines whether a poor Filipino continues to be a productive member of society or becomes permanently disabled. You’ll find that it is one of the most rewarding gifts you will ever give.RSI-giftcard4b

Beginning in Fall 2014, you can formally become a FRIEND of RSI. Here’s how. Commit to making an annually recurring donation to RSI of $50 or more. This donation entitles you to sponsor an indigent friend or relative anywhere in the Philippines who is in need of eye care, which means your donation will help pay for necessary eye care services administered by the Ophthalmological Foundation of the Philippines or OFPHIL, RSI’s partner organization headquartered in Metro Manila. Once you inform us of your intention to become a FRIEND of RSI, you will receive an appropriately numbered card similar to the image at right.Let us know if you’d like to become a FRIEND of RSI by filling in the form below:
